TradeWell (tradewell.today) is an online investment platform promoting crypto, pre-IPO and AI-managed portfolios. On 10 September 2026, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) warned that TradeWell is not authorised by it. Its claimed licences could not be independently verified, so significant caution is warranted.

TradeWell presents itself as an AI-driven investment platform. Its homepage promotes “institutional grade” tools, “high-yield portfolios,” and an AI engine that allocates capital and compounds profits daily. It also advertises access to pre-IPO ventures, Tesla stock and AI-managed portfolios.
The official website is tradewell.today. Some descriptions call it a forex or crypto broker, but the site text we reviewed centres on crypto, stocks and managed portfolios. We found no forex product description.
Claimed by TradeWell (not verified): about $4.8 billion in assets under management, over 2 million active investors, service in 150+ countries, and FDIC-insured holdings.
Independently confirmed: the FCA warning, covered below.

Is TradeWell Regulated?
This is the central question of our TradeWell review.
What TradeWell says: The site states it is “registered and licensed in the UK, USA, and Seychelles,” and says it complies with AML and KYC rules. In the text we reviewed, no legal entity name, licence number or regulator reference was given.
What the evidence shows:
- UK (FCA): The FCA’s warning, first published 10 September 2026, names “TradeWell” with the website tradewell.today. It says the firm is not authorised and may be targeting UK consumers. The FCA also says that dealing with such a firm means no access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and no Financial Services Compensation Scheme protection.
- USA: We could not match tradewell.today to a registration with the SEC, FINRA, CFTC or NFA. A US business registration alone would not authorise investment services.
- Seychelles: We could not match the domain to a Seychelles Financial Services Authority licensee. The FSA publishes its own notices on unlicensed activity.
Based on the available evidence, TradeWell’s regulation claims are unverified, and in the UK they are contradicted by the regulator.
TradeWell Warning Signs
These are documented risk indicators, not accusations:
- An official regulator warning from the FCA, dated 10 September 2026.
- Unverifiable licensing claims for three jurisdictions, with no entity or licence numbers visible.
- Limited corporate transparency. The FCA lists only “United Kingdom” as an address. We found no verified ownership or operating company information on the site.
- Unusual claims. “High-yield” returns, daily compounding and 24/7 liquidity are promotional statements without independent support.
- A questionable insurance claim. The site cites “FDIC Insured Holdings.” The FDIC insures deposits at member banks, not crypto or investment products, so this claim needs clarification.
- Crypto funding. The site says deposits can be made in Bitcoin, USDT or Ethereum, or by bank wire. Crypto transfers are hard to reverse.
We did not find reliably documented user complaints about withdrawals, and we are not alleging any.
TradeWell Fees, Deposits and Withdrawals
- Minimum deposit: Could not be independently confirmed on tradewell.today.
- Payment methods: The site lists Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and bank wire.
- Fees: No clear fee schedule was found.
- Withdrawals: The site claims hardware-key two-factor authentication for withdrawals, but we found no published withdrawal terms, processing times or restrictions.
- Investment-plan conditions: Could not be verified.
Is TradeWell Legit or a Scam?
TradeWell scam searches are understandable, but no authority has called TradeWell a scam. The FCA has said the firm is unauthorised and urged people to avoid dealing with it and beware of scams.
Significant unresolved concerns remain. The claimed licences are unverified, the regulator warning is unresolved, and key company details are missing. Based on the available evidence, prospective users should exercise significant caution.
How to Check a Broker Before Investing
- Verify the broker with the official regulator, such as the FCA Firm Checker.
- Confirm the legal company name and registration number.
- Check that the website domain matches the regulator’s records.
- Review fees and withdrawal conditions in writing.
- Look for independent evidence, not testimonials alone.
- Don’t send extra funds to “unlock” withdrawals unless independently verified.
- Keep records of deposits, messages and transactions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is TradeWell legit?
Its legitimacy cannot be confirmed. The FCA says TradeWell is not authorised in the UK, and its other licence claims could not be verified. Treat it as high-risk until it shows verifiable authorisation.
Is TradeWell regulated?
Not verifiably. TradeWell claims licences in the UK, USA and Seychelles but names no regulator reference. The FCA states it is not authorised, and we could not match it to US or Seychelles records.
Is TradeWell licensed in the UK?
No evidence supports that. The FCA’s 10 September 2026 warning says TradeWell is not authorised or registered to offer financial services in the UK.
Is TradeWell a forex broker?
It is not clearly presented as one. The site we reviewed promotes crypto, stocks, pre-IPO access and AI-managed portfolios, though other sources label it a forex or crypto broker. No licence for forex dealing was found.
Can I trust TradeWell with my money?
Based on current evidence, caution is advised. Without verified regulation, you may have no ombudsman or compensation protection if something goes wrong.
How can I verify whether TradeWell is regulated?
Search the regulator’s own register, such as the FCA Firm Checker, using the company name and website. Don’t rely on licence badges on the broker’s site. Also check the FCA Warning List and international regulators’ alerts.
What should I do before depositing money with TradeWell?
Don’t deposit until the legal entity and regulator are verified. If you’ve already paid, keep your records, stop sending funds, and report the firm to the FCA on 0800 111 6768.
Conclusion
The available evidence does not support confidence in TradeWell. The FCA warns it is unauthorised, its licence claims are unverified, and company details are missing. Independently verify regulatory authorisation before depositing funds. Finding no complaints is not proof of safety.
